Microsoft launches Windows 7!

Windows 7 is the latest operating system to be released by Microsoft for use on PCs. Despite a whole host of new and exciting features it is designed to be slicker and more streamlined, to appeal both to Windows XP users and those looking for an alternative to Vista. Whilst it looks and works a lot like Vista, Microsoft claims to have analysed exactly what it is we do with our computers, before developing Windows 7 to do just what we want and need it to do, but in a more simplified way that ever before. So whether you are looking for a more secure alternative to XP, a longer battery life from your laptop or just an improved, more intuitive, user interface you are likely to be impressed with Windows 7.

Windows 7 courseware is in development now for an anticipated release in early 2010. We will, of course, include everything you need to know as well as some of Windows 7’s party pieces such as Snap, Peek and Shake – the all new fun-to-use, but nonetheless extremely useful, tools for managing your desktop.

So if you are planning to migrate to Windows 7, the Watsonia team will provide all the training materials you need to make the transition a painless and rewarding one.
