Well, time to get those iPods ready folks...
Earlier this month, Watsonia UK's MD David Kelly and the Institute of IT Training's Alan Bellinger travelled to the BCS Headquarters in Swindon as guests of Helen Boddy, editor of IT Training magazine to help join in the launch of their new Podcast service.
A lively discussion ensued around the issue of new system inductions and software rollouts, with views and opinions contributed on a range of topics including detailed planning, staff and change management issues, potential pitfalls, and even....what (or who) to throw into "Training Room 101". Topical stuff indeed with many organisations currently considering implementations of Vista and Office 2007 amongst others.
The Podcast has now been released on iTunes and is approximately 25 minutes in length. Go into iTunes and you will find it under the Podcast section - you may need to search for "IT Training" under Technology News to locate it. Alternatively, it is available for download from the IT Training magazine web site, or you can listen to it here.
