We are delighted to report that one by one, Britain's biggest brains are realising the value in Watsonia courseware products - and EngineRoom, freeing up their training teams to focus on the more important client-facing training and development roles and activities.

Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, Napier and Loughborough Universities are the latest to sign up, giving Watsonia Publishing almost 50% market share in the UK University sector, along with 60% of Universities in Australia.

We were extremely honoured recently to have been asked to speak at the annual UCISA conference - the Universities and Colleges Information Services Association held at Oxford University Computing Centre on June 3rd.   The conference entitled "Developing a Training Strategy for Vista & Office 2007" was attended by key Training Management staff from most major FE and HE organisations around the country.

Due to the many requests we have had, the Watsonia team is currently forming user and networking groups amongst the University sector - one group for the South of England and Wales, and the other for North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.   Regular meetings, discussion groups, collaboration and think-tanks are all planned, with the common goal of sharing information and ideas on all aspects of training and courseware.   Of great interest to many members will be the sharing of bespoke courseware created by internal University training teams up and down the country.  Already, courseware projects are underway for non-standard applications such as SAP, SPSS, HR systems and many more which can be pooled and shared amongst the sector.
